Data Migration Services Architect-AWS

Our professional services engagements will focus on customer solutions such as high volume OLTP environments, batch data processing, designing and deploying future state petabyte-scale data lake/warehouse services and building and/or designing reference configurations to enable our customers and influence AWS RDS, Aurora, and Redshift adoption.

 

You Will

  • Employ customer facing skills to represent AWS well within the customer’s environment and drive discussions with senior personnel regarding trade-offs, standard methodologies, project management and risk mitigation

  • Work closely with AWS RDS, Aurora and Redshift teams to help ensure the success of project consulting engagements with customer

The Team

The Enterprise Data Solutions & Engineering team is accountable for delivering infrastructure architecture, implementation & deployments on Cloud & Data Centers in collaboration with Digital infrastructure & other Teams from a wide variety of backgrounds. The key area of focus: Infrastructure as Code, Application Architecture, Automation, Project Delivery, Environment Troubleshooting, and Low Level Design Documentation. You will be part of a world class Enterprise Data Solutions & Engineering team architecting various solutions for business requirements within different product offerings of our client Commercial Banking, Customer Analytics, Market Intelligence, used by tens of thousands of business users across bank. The team is responsible for ensuring cloud solutions that deliver Greater Reliability & Resilience, High Performance, High Availability and Scalability.

The team is accountable for understanding business requirements and architecting solutions for cloud delivery of large-scale data processing, aggregation and publishing of market data systems. You will utilize your hands on technical knowledge and analytical skills in architecting and optimizing cloud infrastructure, standardizing technology stack for cloud & datacenters, implementing cloud service catalog and service governance solutions, and driving implementation of our cloud first strategy and cloud adoption in partnership with development & business stakeholders. The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for supporting a large-scale deployment and all underlying systems related to supporting cloud computing workloads and IT project deployment.

 

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing transfer of data from traditional to cloud-based services

  • Experience with understand business proposals and transforming into technical solutions.

  • Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
